By emailing a particular email address, it was a way that folk could tell us things you notice: strange little items or events spotted on your way to work, newly-noticed aesthetic qualities of everyday items, or any sort of epiphany or discovery. respond to posts privately or to the entire list using your own discretion. start now: what do you see? what do you notice? It was full of ephemera. I liked it.

At some point, Megan’s webhosting changed, and the mailing list died. Today, on my morning commute I noticed something that, back in the day, I might have emailed to the list. It occurred to me that something similar could be done with 140 characters and a Twitter hashtag.

Thus I encourage you all to notice all those little things, and to tweet them @_noticed with the hashtag #notice and share the strange little items or events spotted on your way to work, newly-noticed aesthetic qualities of everyday items, or any sort of epiphany or discovery.

Start now: what do you see? what do you notice?
