Zero battery. No charge. No life. 🙁

What makes this particularly annoying is I did think last night, as I sat down to watch Coast that I ought to check it and maybe put it on to charge. Sadly though I thought, oh no, it’ll be fine…, and so now I have no tunes and no beloved Radio 4 to listen to. Double sad place… 🙁

The Power of Radio https://shepline.com/2006/01/04/the-power-of-radio-2/ https://shepline.com/2006/01/04/the-power-of-radio-2/#respond Wed, 04 Jan 2006 19:18:00 +0000 http://journal.shepline.com/?p=1244 The recent storyline on The Archers concerning the sudden death of Betty Tucker proves to me the power of radio. I have been moved to tears by the exchanges between Mike, Roy, and Brenda Tucker and their friends and loved ones, and tonight was no exception. Maybe I am just being over-emotional, but I don’t think I am. The writers and the actors concerned have done us all proud when it comes to there handling of the story. Just brilliant.

Emotionally draining, deeply upsetting, but brilliant.

Long live radio.
