I think it’s taken the very cold winter that we’ve just had to really, truly, appreciate the Spring now that it’s arrived. In past years Spring has been arriving earlier and earlier, the winters have been milder, and the weather has been a bit samey.

I love the contrasts. I love it that you can have cold winters and hot summers and those gorgeous, changing and changeable times between (spring and autumn). It makes me happy. 🙂

An event made all the more odd by my booking of this years holiday, yes, in 2006 I will be voyaging to vence in June and July.

Well, more precisely, I will be having a three day city break in the city and then going out to the Dolomites for ten days or so with BTCV to do something or other conservation related.

Hrmm, 3 days in Venice? Me thinks I might have to invest in a 1GB memory card for my camera… 🙂

Oh, and I will be reprising last years Postcard from… series, so get your thinking caps on as to subjects!
