Just been for my weekly swim at the very nice pool in Abingdon, however I’m a bit put out that I had to stop at thirty rather than do my usual forty. The reason – a number of aggressive swimmers who were doing the swimming pool equivalent of men in fast cars driving up your bumper honking their horns and flashing their headlights. Ggrr… why can’t people just chill out and relax.
I heard something on Today about genetic identity cards and how there are genes for anything including behaviour types. Personally I think being a nice person is down to nurture not nature, but if it isn’t, and I’m wrong can we genetically remove those who suffer from pool rage from the population…?
