There’s nothing quite like it, to lie under a tree, staring up the leaf canopy, the light dappling through it and in The Fall it’s magickal. I’ve always felt at peace under a tree, ever since I was a little’un. It has to be the best place to be.

i love these.
especially the first one. the fourth one looks like a painting.
what kind of camera do you use?
As I was posting of these, I thought to myself: Hmnn, is going to love these… and I was right, too!
I really adore lieing under trees staring up at the branchs and the leaves, and at this time of year with the autumn colours… ahhhh!!!
(it’s a Fugi Finepix, like this one – unless you can pay vastly more for a proper Digital SLR at near a £1000, I thorougly recommend this one!)
Nice. I like woodland and trees to something in the energy. Must get my pictures from the weekend up.
Lovely. who’s that in pic no 3?
It’s a long time since I lay under a tree. When I was little, in the Middle East, I would imagine digging myself a little burrow and living like Mole, but the trees in our garden weren’t really the type for lying under and having reveries – they were sharp and thin-trunked and the ground was hard beneath them. The creatures that lived in them weren’t soft and furry, but long and lean and dark and mean.
This is getting ridiculous – this is the second time today that I’ve posted as Legacytheband. I go online, forget to log on – post, and then realise that it’s some other member of my household. Good job Mr M doesn’t have an LJ – because he’s even more IT inept than I am!
That’s Sam and Barney… 🙂
