I’m actually standing on a traffic island next to the martyr’s memorial with my back to the Randolf Hotel, but I swear I could be up in Yorkshire in the mid-nineteenth century spying on Jane and Mr Rochester…

Brilliant! you’re getting better and better at this.
Thank you! 🙂
I’m enjoying doing b&wh photography again (why have I left it so long?) and doing creative, artistic visual things again. I’m currently trying to get to grips with ebay.com to secure myself a replacement Praktica MTL3 SLR camera in which I can shoot off black & white film to develop in a bag and scan negs into Photoshop to play around with and print from…
…unfortunately I keep getting outbid at the last minute. At least there seems to be a steady stream of them on the market… 😉
Dom suggests that you proxy-bid. You put in the highest price that you’re willing to pay and then ebay bets automatically up to your pre-set limit.
Yup! Tried that… one of these days I’ll succeed. It would be easier if I could watch the last few minutes from work, but curse it, ebay is *websensed* at work – ggrrr…
Sir, your photographs are enthralling. They inspire me to write… which i hope to have time to do soon! i was in Cambridge this summer, and took scads of photographs at the university. i never got a chance to head up to Oxford, but now i desperately would like to see that campus as well.
If you do not mind, may i introduce you to a photographer friend of mine? We are friends in real life, too! His lj is also photogenic. 🙂, meet ; , meet .
Thank you! 🙂 I’m hoping they will inspire me to write too! ^_^ …what are you writing, or hoping to write? If you do ever visit Oxford, let me know and we’ll meet up!
And I’ve *friended* your friend – those are some awesome photos in his latest post aren’t they?!
Thanks for the tip! Pleased to meet you – nice pictures 🙂
Oh, and *in person* please, not in *real life*. The friendships within lj are real too ye know!
Yay, you finally corrected yourself! 😉
