…c’est trés marvellous! J’adore Trois Colours Rouge!
I love that film, car lights on the road, the fruit machine, the pan across the back of the chairs in the bowling alley, to the packet of cigarettes and the half empty, broken glass of beer. The intricasies of the film just entrap my senses every time. It’s truley magical…
It inspires me to write. One day, I shall make something of euroJournal — the drama set in a La Rochelle based European publishing house — a group of young professionals and students talking in French, English, some subtitled, some not, with scenes cut together with answers to answer and complete them… One day.
Re: My favourite too…
I got Blue and White too, but I felt in the mood to go straight to Red! ^__^
I can remember I was in France the summer of ’94 and went to see the likes of Quatre Marriages et un Enterrement for the first time (learnt some French swear words doing that *grins*), Maverick, Threesome, and a (it seems) little heard of French film Priez Pour Vous all in French (and understanded at least the gist of them!) – but whilst I was there I saw trailers for the forthcoming Trois Colours Rouge and can remember being so enraptured I had to find out more – so I got Blue on video when I got back to England and then went to White a the cinema – can’t remember where I first saw Red…
Saw a trailer for La Fille de d’Artagnan too – another good, fun film…
(I wonder what happened to Priez Pour Vous?)
