Satisfied and regenerated. Yesterday I drove south to Abingdon and took to the waters: 42 lengths in 50 minutes, and emerged pleasently achey because of it – I think it’s done me some good. Then I shopped for food and enjoyed a delicious meal of roast lamb with roasted squash, and corn on the cob. I do like winter vegetables you know…

Finished up in the evening watching a really dumb movie on dvd – The League of Extraordinary Gentleman – hrmm, I’m still not entirely sure about it…

This morning I made my bottle of sloe gin. So now I just have to shake it once every few days between now and Christmas, and then enjoy! Now I’m finishing up day 7 of my Hungarian adventures before settling down to some novel writing before watching Bremner, Bird and Fortune followed by the new Michael Palin travel thing.

All in all, a good couple of days…
