Hmm, again I think the faces are too long – too much space between the lady’s eyes and the tip of her nose, too much space between the tip of her nose and the top of her mouth. Even if you are working from a photo it’s important to measure up to get the personality of your subject across.
I also think the eyes need work on all three faces – it might help if you think that all of our irises and pupils are round, but they’re given that “eye shape” by the positioning of our lids relative to our expression. It looks like you are drawing the eye shape with the eyelids and trying to fit the iris/pupils in afterwards. What we can recognise as an eye is a lot more complex than that, and yet at the same time can be drawn in much simpler strokes.
Have you tried copying things by turning the image upside down and drawing the lines you see? It works very well in getting proportions, as you stop relying on your mental image of what a face “should” look like.

I’m interested to hear you say that. You seem to be doing alright, so why do you feel it’s hard?
to be honest, I think the last one was better…especially if you’re going for flattering 😛 They just all look so grumpy in that picture :/
To be honest, I think I would have to agree with you. As I was drawing it, I knew, instinctively, that this one wasn’t as good.
