You thought it would be easy wouldn’t you, to download Írafár’s new, self-titled album and sync it to my trusty iRiver…?
Not, when Windows Media Player decides to lock up and refuse to alter the library. Much swearing later, and fruitless web searching for explanations as to curious error messages, I give up and take the (possibly risky) option of installing the beta version of WMP 11. I don’t really understand why, but I was able, in a few short seconds to sort out my library, and sync the new tracks to my iRiver. And I have to say, at first glance, version 11 of the software does look pretty good!
I still curse Microsoft and it’s pathetic, whiny error messages for taking up much precious writing time!
