Woot! Cambridge won the Boat Race! A brilliant race by anyone’s standards. Both teams rowed well. Oxford did well to stop Cambridge making use of their first bend, but then, where the heck did Cambridge get the power to see Oxford off their bend and take a lead? The Thames was a mirror pond of calmness at times during the race; a calmness reflected in the Cambridge cox (in sharp contrast the pent-up aggression of the Oxford cox). A close race, and a good race, and of course the right team won! 🙂
