Currently listening to a Jeanette Winterson special (siren_songs are you listening to this? If not, you better get onto BBC Listen Again…) – and it’s fascinating to hear her talk of the process of writing. In particular, she was talking about how huge swathes of a writer’s time can be marked out by how little has been written, or or how writers have written themselves into her books. Both of these things are experiences that I’ve had, and I know that it’s okay, but even so it’s nice to hear – it’s encouraging – that these things happen, that it works, from established writers.
Not my best written post, but you get the idea behind it… ^__-
Saw the South Bank Show about Winterson, but don’t have a radio…What was the title of the R4 prog?
Front Row, you know the post-Archers arts programme, but yesterday it was a Special. I could probably rip it off the website and email it to you if you’d like?
If you could, that would be great!
