“The Angels reappear and Faustus is almost persuaded to repent. The Devil and Beelzebub come up from Hell and make him keep his pact. Faustus is shown the seven deadly sins. Pride, covetousness, envy, wrath, gluttony, sloth, lechery…”

…and this is the scene that I was in. As I recall, the Devil took the part of a circus ringleader with the seven deadly sins as each of the *acts* – and there was a song, which kind of followed an Elvis style (I think there was a final show of Jailhouse Rock in there somewhere, anyway, there were too many of us for he parts so myself and Amanda took the form of a couple of backing (singers) horses – prancing around to accompany the song…

I’m King of the Jungle
and all I possess
These are all of my creatures
They sure are the be best

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners
That’s not the way to behave
Yes we’re the seven deadly sinners
But it’s never too late
To be saved.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

If you’re looking for trouble
You’re at the right place,
I’ve got a wrath so mean,
Just look right in my face.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

See alll you sweet people,
Doing your sweet thing,
Wanna go back to my place,
I don’t care who you bring.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

I’m that green-eyed monster,
Enviousof you,
See my green eyes wonderin,
Then I’m after you too.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

Hunger is my first name,
Second name gluttony,
You can hear him shout,
Someone better feed me.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

If you’ve got what I want,
Then you better hear this,
Take care of what you’ve got,
Cos I’m covetousness.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

Oh you’re all so boring,
Help me to relax,
Bring me some more wine,
While I lie on my back.

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…

Cos we’re the seven deadly sinners…
