As everyone will be aware by now, I didn’t drown in the process of doing my sponsored swim. Ermm, no … however my weekend was not without injury…
I now have a fetching scar/burn running in a line across my left side of my face, from where I lent on the heated towel rail in my bathroom whilst turning it off (Saturday). I also have a nice, deep cut to my left forearm from where I thwacked it hard on a door handle (Sunday).
OUCH. Poor you!
PS to stop scarring, buy some aloe vera gel. It helps heal the skin.
Is there any particular sort I should look out for (brand name or the like) when I’m next in that aisle of the supermarket/chemist?
