Trying to remember the pre-scything exercise at the orchard in Hungary last summer, and the similar pre-footpath construction halfway up a mountain in Iceland of two years ago, I attempted to do a few stretching exercises in the shallow end of the pool at the beginning of today’s session…
Not brilliant I think, but it did at least propell me doing 12 lengths in 10 minutes without getting a stitch. Not such a good swimming rate though for the following 28 lengths, as this took me 30 minutes. Still, all in all, I equalled Tuesday’s total of 40 lengths (that’s 20 laps for my US readers) in 40 minutes (but without significant rests during that time…
And now I can smell that roast lamb slowly cooking… ^__^
