It was her day off today, and although she’d already worked more hours than me this week (vastly), and I work 5-days but get to finish at 3.30 (or thereabouts) I still wanted to spend the day with her, subconsciously…
2. I’ve had a very nice lunch today. The sun was out, it was warm, and I sat in the quad and ate my sandwiches and revised some more of my novel, successfully writing some short, additional passages to splice into the closing pages of Part Five.
3. The man from Bicester Removals came to meet us and give us a quote, and a nice man he was too. He gave us good vibes and we felt good about using him. Just have to wait and see what the quote comes back with now…
